Securities Actions

Since 2014, Quetglas Law has devoted a greater part of its legal practice to handle arbitrations before FINRA representing customers against UBS and other Broker Dealers for Securities’ Laws violations. In arbitration, Quetglas Law has successfully represented hundreds of claimants against Broker Dealers, that include, among others, Popular Securities LLC, Santander Securities, LLC, BS Financial Services Incorporated of Puerto Rico, and UBS Financial Services, Inc.

Class Actions

Quetglas Law has been involved in some of the most innovative and sophisticated class action cases in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

We take pride in our expertise in handling complex class action lawsuits. Notably, our attorneys represented the plaintiffs in Luis Bonilla, et al. v. Trebol Motors Corp., et al., Case No. 92-1795(JP) (UDCPR), achieving a landmark judgment of $129,591,300 for our client, in addition to $3,500,000 in fees and costs. The judgment was reversed on appeal as to Volvo Car Corporation and affirmed as to the rest. This case exemplifies our firm's dedication to delivering outstanding results.

Meet Eric Quetglas-Jordán

Eric Quetglas-Jordán, a leading figure in our firm, holds a BA in Psychology from UCLA, achieving Dean’s Honors List recognition. His legal journey progressed at the University of Puerto Rico School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 1985. Known for his remarkable skills, Eric served as a Law Clerk at the PR Supreme Court under Chief Justices Jose Trias-Monge and Victor Pons.

Continuing our esteemed legacy, Eric’s children, Myrthia and Eric F. Quetglas-Larrauri, joined the firm in 2015.
